Shipping Policy

We are happy to offer free shipping within the 48 contiguous states. Unfortunately, we do not currently ship to Alaska and Hawaii.

SMALL PARCELS

For smaller items such as Coop Accessories, Feeders, Waterers, and Garden Tools, we use carriers like FedEx and UPS. These items will be delivered directly to your door without the need for a prior appointment or phone call. Estimated delivery time: 2-5 business days.

LARGE ITEMS

For larger items, including Coops, Runs, Hunting Blinds, and Greenhouses, we use LTL freight services. You will receive a call from the shipping company to confirm the delivery. These items are typically shipped via tractor trailers, usually 50 feet or longer.

Please note: If your location is not accessible for such large vehicles, neither the carrier nor Garden Guru will be responsible for any delivery issues. In such cases, you will need to contact the shipping company to arrange an alternative delivery method.

Your location may be considered inaccessible for tractor-trailer delivery if any of the following apply:

• Roads leading to your home have low-hanging branches.
• Single-lane roads.
• Gated access or entry codes.
• Narrow or outdated bridges.
• Dirt roads or roads without an outlet.
• Limited space for the vehicle to turn around.
• Your home is located on an island.

Solutions for Inaccessible Locations: If you encounter any of these obstacles, consider the following options:

• Pick up the product from a nearby terminal (contact us via email or phone for product dimensions).
• Coordinate with the truck driver to meet at a more accessible location to transfer the product to another vehicle.

Please remember that you must contact the shipping company directly to arrange any of these options. Freight companies will only deliver to the base of your driveway and will not proceed up your driveway or place your order in a specific location. If these conditions are not met, you will be responsible for any return shipping fees.

DELIVERY TIME AND RESPONSIBILITIES

We cannot guarantee specific delivery dates or times. It is your responsibility to be available to receive your delivery within 1-15 business days after purchase. If the shipping company encounters difficulty reaching your location, you will be responsible for any costs related to storage, re-consignment fees, or return shipping.

Estimated Delivery Times:

• OverEZ Coops: 3-9 business days
• Nestera and Formex Coops: 3-5 business days
• Garden Tools and Small Items: 2-5 business days

DAMAGED ITEMS

Upon receiving your order, always inspect it carefully. If any item is damaged during transit:

• For minor packaging damage, mark the delivery as "damaged" at the time of receipt.
• For major damages, refuse the delivery outright.

In either case, please contact Garden Guru immediately to report the issue. Always take photos of the damage.

MISSING ITEMS

Each Coop or Run is shipped on its own pallet. If any items are missing:

• Note the missing items on the Bill of Lading (BOL) as "SHORT."
• For damages and missing items, ensure you write it on the BOL yourself—do not allow the driver to write it for you.

For clarity, if you order 1 Large Coop and 1 Walk-In Run, expect to receive 2 separate pallets.
